Mickey Landry received his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1984, and graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 1993, where he was a member of the Loyola Moot Court Staff. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, and is a member of the Louisiana State, New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and Federal Bar Associations, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association (Board of Governors -1999) and the Association of Trial Lawyers
of America.
Frank J. Swarr received his degree in civil engineering from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston in 1989, where he was inducted into Chi Epsilon, the national civil engineering honor society. He graduated from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 1994, was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society, and was a member of the Loyola Law Review and Loyola Moot Court Staff. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, and is a member of the Louisiana State, New Orleans, Jefferson Parish and Federal Bar Associations, Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
After graduating from law school in 1999, David Cannella served as a law clerk for the Honorable Pascal F. Calogero, Jr., Chief Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court. Following his service for Chief Justice Calogero, Mr. Cannella served as an Assistant District Attorney for Orleans Parish. During his stint with Harry Connick's office, David was assigned to the Magistrate Division, the Narcotics Screening Division and the Felony Trial Division. Also, David was an Advisor to the Grand Jury. In the Felony Trial Division, David prosecuted criminal defendants in Section "K", the Honorable Arthur Hunter presiding, and Section "F", the Honorable Dennis Waldron presiding.
In late 2001, Mr. Cannella joined the law firm of Ates & Associates in Destrehan as an associate focusing primarily on personal injury and wrongful death. In 2003, Mr. Cannella joined Landry & Swarr. David's areas of practice include toxic tort litigation, products liability litigation, serious personal injury, wrongful death, general civil litigation and criminal defense.
Mr. Cannella graduated from the University of Chicago in 1995, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1999. In law school, David was a member of the Moot Court Board and a Moot Court Tullis Competitor. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
